Harwood Point Historical Gardens
These attractive gardens are a great place to spend some time on the lake front. The gardens are dedicated to the HMS Ajax, the Royal Navy ship after which the town is named, and to the Defence Industries Ltd plant and workers who lived in the area during WWII. Steeped in history, these gardens provide the opportunity to learn more about Ajax's early days. Access is via the foot of Harwood Avenue South.
